So my DGf and I have finally booked reservations for May 12th - May 21st. Over the weekend we planned out a pretty decent itinerary of the days we're going to be there. Tell me what you think.

Friday, May 12th
Arrive at MCO at 10:35AM, Take Magical Express to hotel. Arrive at AKL at 11:30 - 12PM. Let the front desk know we're there and ask Bell Services to hold our carry-on while we run over to Magic Kingdom. (My DGf has never been to WDW in her life, and I thought before we experience the morning rush the next morining, we should just walk around and take everything in.)
Head back to AKL at about 8PM - Eat at BOMA - ADR's for 9:30PM, hang back at our hotel and sleep.

Saturday, May 13th
Arrive at Magic Kingdom before opening. Spend the day here since it's opened until 11PM today. Watch Spectro, Wishes, Kiss Goodnight, and head back to AKL.

Sunday, May 14th
Arrive at MGM before opening. Parade begins at 5:30, ADR's for 5:55 at 50s Prime Time Cafe. Get out in time for Fantasmic! Back to AKL.

Monday, May 15th
Arrive at EPCOT before opening and make sure to ride Soarin' right away. Make our way to the World Showcase as early as 11, so we can spend the day checking out all the beautiful sights and watching the little films, etc etc. After Illuminations, possibly head over to Downtown Disney, but most likely just go back to hotel.

Tuesday, May 16th
Arrive at AK before opening (which means we can sleep in longer than everyone else, because we're 2 minutes away). When it closes at 6, head over to hotel and swim for a while. Then take bus over to Boardwalk and hang out at Jellyrolls until about 1:30AM. Grab a cab back to AKL.

Wednesday, May 17th
Back at Epcot, most likely tired from last night, we have ADR's at Akersus Princess Storybook Breakfast at 8:35AM...there will be a surprise for my DGf, but I won't release that info because she may look at this site. We'll spend most of the day in FutureWorld until our ADR's for Les Chef's De France at 5PM. We'll eat there and then head home kind of early and rest since we were out real late last night.

Thursday, May 18th
Free day! I'm not sure what we're doing yet, but it most likely will involve checking out all the Deluxe Resorts around the MK area and mini golfing at Winter-Summerland (are there any buses that go there? I've never seen one). We have ADR's for that Evening at Wolfgang Puck's Cafe, where we may meet up with a bunch of friends and Cast Members that just happened to be going on vacation around the same time we are. Hang out at Pleasure Island doing only the Comedy Club and teh Adventurer's Club (becaus ethe other ones are terrible) and also check out Ragland Road. Celebrate New Year's and then head on back to the hotel.

Friday, May 19th
Head out to MGM before opening. Do all the fun Star Wars Weekends stuff and get some limited edition merch before they sell out! :) After we finish all the Star Wars stuff the park has to offer, ride Coaster and Tower one more time. From 1PM on, we'll most likely have a free day.

Saturday, May 20th
Finally head back to Magic Kingdom again for half the day, then the second half is up for grabs.

Sunday, May 21st
We may hit up MK again, or anything we need to finish up or NEED to do again after checkout. Then go back to AKL, wait for Magical Express and sadly, head home.

There we go... Any ideas for the free time we have, or any changes you would make? Thanks so much guys!

Wow -- great plan!

The only comment I'll make is that you might be a little overly optimistic about your first day plan -- it may take longer than you think to get from the airport to the hotel, and to complete your check-in (even though you're already prepared not to have access to your room). Also, if you are hungry, you would be MUCH better off having some lunch at AKL instead of rushing to MK and expecting to eat there. You will be getting there (MK), even with a bit of a delay, during the lunch rush, and being there hungry for your first visit and getting stuck in a long line for food doesn't make a good first impression! So, do consider eating at AKL first....

You can get the most up-to-date transportation information about getting to mini-golf locations from the folks at the front desk of the hotel. You may need to switch buses, but you can absolutely get there and the hotel staff can tell you the best option. You also may want to consider jumping in a taxi, if you don't want to spend time doing the bus-switch.

Have a BLAST!

Whoa, I'm exhuasted just reading about your trip (you're clearly alot younger than me!). Have a great time and be sure to report back. Your DGF is going to have an awesome time!

Whew! :faint: I am worn out just reading that! I can understand where you want to pack as much as possible into this trip because it's her first to WDW, but take my advice....my first trip was in September on my honeymoon and I wanted to pack as much as I could into my first trip, but DH, being the Disney expert (as I call him) wanted me to take in everything I could and enjoy my time at Disney, not feel like I have to rush!

That was a good idea, because even though I didn't get to do or see everything I wanted to....it's a good excuse to go back!!!

Enjoy your trip!

You may want to rethink staying out at Jellyrolls until 1 am and having to be at the Princess breakfast for 8:30 am. Remember, you need to walk all the way from the Epcot entrance to the Norway pavillion (10-15 minute walk) after you get to Epcot. So you're looking at very little sleep in order to make it to breakfast on time. You wouldn't want a GRUMPY gf trudging up to the Norway pavillion!

hehehe - Maybe we should get to Jellyrolls a bit earlier... and then swim when we get back instead.

I know it seems like a lot, I couldn't find anywhere to put our free days in before Thursday. The last few days have lot sof "whatever" in them, where we may just do some fun activities or stay at the hotel and look at the animals. :) About lunch on the 12th...We're thinking just grabbing a dog at Casey's Corner. We're not really planning on riding anything that first day.

Thanks for your input everyone! (and yes, we'll be 25 then and she's a marathon runner...extreme natural adrenaline...hehe)

Any suggestions for the free days? We'd love to do something both fun-filled and romantic.
