How's the food court at AKL? The menu at allears (which is more than a year old) shows that the only children's meals are rotisserie chicken or mac and cheese. Is this still true?
Had lunch there last year while taking a peek at the AKL....not too impressed with the soggy french fries, super greasy fried shrimp and I still dont see what the big deal is about zebra domes.
We are staying there for the first time club level in Oct. We are going to give the CS there another shot.
We don't like their food court very much as the selections are pretty limited. They do have chicken fingers for kids as my son got them in December. Not sure what else, maybe a burger? I think there were 4 options for kids.

We found a few things we really enjoyed....they make a good chicken Ceasar salad, Butternut Squash Soup, and sweet potato chips. It's more of a we're-too-tired-to-leave-the-resort place to eat. DTD is a quick bus ride away for more food choices if you don't want to go back into the parks.
i like the potato soup and the pizza. sorry i dont know what they have for kids. we also like the breakfast platters. BUT the amra is SO SMALL> every morning we had to fight for a place to sit down.
My kid LOVES Mac & Cheese so that did for about one meal at Mara. After that she wanted pizza but I did talk her into the rotisserie chicken (we had pizza at Pizza Planet). The kids menu is limited--we like the one at Captain Cooks in the Polynesian Resort much better.
But for a quick bite, Mara is OK. The main downside for me is that it closes at around 11pm. Not very convenient when returning from a 1am EMH at the Magic Kingdom.
