My InLaws are going to be joining us for a few days on our trip, and they seem to really want to watch DD for a while so that DH and I can have a "date." :yay: Hey, if they're offering, who am I to turn them down? Anyway, I was thinking about trying to make an ADR for the Bluezoo. Is it on the DDP? Is it any good? I remember seeing some pictures of a lobster there that looked wonderful. Any opinions?

I went to Bluezoo with my DW last year and was unimpressed. I found the dining room to be very loud and very dark. The food was just OK, but very expensive. The server was not very attentive - he was also working several large party tables. I think it is more suited for a business dinner with clients than a romanic night out with your significant other.

Bluezoo is not on the DDP, it is not a disney restaurant and not in a disney resort.

With that being said, if you and hubby have a night alone it is the perfect place to go. The restaurant is so beautiful, it glows blue (not like glow sticks, lol, just the sun coming through the window sheers at sunset), it makes you feel like you are under the ocean.

The food and service have always been fabulous when we have gone.
We usually stay at Dolphin, so we are able to pop in quite often.

If you love great food, a wonderful wine list you are going to love this place.

Enjoy!

My family of 5 went our last trip. We were at WDW 13 nights and BZ was THE highlight meal of the trip. My DH told everyone we encountered how wonderful it was. The service FAR surpassed Ca Grill (we went there 4 nights later). It's very much a 'Las Vegas' restaurant vibe. We both had a white fish with a lobster sauce that was TDF. Our kids had spaghetti and pizza. The service was so A+ that we sought out the management and told him so, and thanked him for such a lovely dining experience. We also tipped about 25%. It's hard sometimes as a young family to get superior service in a restaurant like this, but this waiter made us feel just as welcome and appreciated as a group of businessmen.

Add me to the "plus" reviews. Been there 4 times for dinner and each time was excellent.

I love Bluezoo. But lately I tend to eat in the cafe and not the dining room, so I can't say much about the dining room.

I'm glad to hear a lot of raves, as I'm booked on 10/15 for my first time eating there.

I'm also in the thumbs up crowd :thumbsup2 I even took my non-Disney friend and she loved it. The bar has a very hip, fun vibe. We got there early for a few pre-dinner drinks and the bar staff was excellent. The food was very good and there was a nice wine selection also. The food coming out of the kitchen was not that speedy, but we weren't in any hurry and sat next to a really neat couple and had a fun time talking with them. I think it is one of the better 'fine dining' restaurants at Disney (not withstanding V&A).

Another vote for Bluezoo! I have been there many times, and have loved it each time. To start, the bread basket with the fennel butter is um, um, good! They specialize in seafood dishes. This is a must eat at for me. Sadly, it is not on the DDP. You are going to love this place. Enjoy!!:cheer2:
