Hello - we didn't make reservations before we went down on our last trip and couldn't get in. So I just called for our late august trip (not during free dining). The tea was pretty much sold out every day except one day and I had just 2 times to choose from. So I got a reservation! (I had no idea it was so hard to get a table). We are bringing my DD2 who loves to dress up as a princess. We're really looking forward to this - can anyone share their experiences? or pictures?

It was a very nice experience. There were lots of teas to choose from and all the different finger sandwiches and pastries were very good. I think you'll have a good time!!! Here are some of my pics:

We really enjoyed it. They had "tea" (chocolate milk) for the little ones and all the food was very good. I especially loved the scones and the strawberry tarts!!! They really make your little ones feel special...:goodvibes

The GF Tea was a highlight of our 2 week Christmas trip. My sister, mother, and I took my DD (6) and my DNiece (5) to the BBB first. We then went to the Tea afterwords. They have chocolate milk in tea cups, but the girls really enjoyed the Princess Breakfast Tea. It was sweet and fruity. My niece drank like 4 cups.
The girls felt so special in their princess dresses, eating the "fancy" sandwiches. They especially enjoyed the pastries.

My mom, sister, and I are returning in September for free dining. We were so disappointed when we found out the GF Tea was not included on the DDP. :(

I would definitely recommend it! :thumbsup2

I have been there with several people on different occasions and everyone has enjoyed it (and returned). :goodvibes

DD and I went at Christmas and loved it. I had the Grand Tea and DD had Mrs. Potts. It was really a nice experience. Of course DH didn't want to go but did see us from GF lobby and saw me drinking sparkling wine and asked how my tea was :rotfl:

We will go back for sure! Maybe DH will go next time since he now knows he has other options besides the tea;)

DH and I went in April and we both loved it! Tons of pics and review are in my signature.

It is a great way to get out of the parks and recharge for the rest of the day

Thanks everyone! and Aimeedyan - thanks for the pictures. The cheese looks great. I think that's what I'm getting. And the princess tea sounds yummy. good to know that others have brought kids.

I'll just throw in a caveat.....there's a big difference between taking a 5-year-old and a 2-year-old, IMO. I wouldn't be comfortable bringing a toddler that age to the tea. It's not really a "tea party for toddlers" kind of place, it's small, intimate, elegant, and VERY quiet, and kind of unusual to see kids that age in there.

I'm not sure how much fun she'd have.....would she enjoy it if she had to sit very quietly and use her 'inside voice' while you were there? Or would she want to be up and about, playing tea-party?

Thanks for this thread. I'm thinking about doing this with my mom next year.:goodvibes

You'll love it! My Mom and I go to WDW every couple of years, and the tea is a must-do. They have a wonderful selection of teas (Princess Breakfast is my favorite), and the pastries are to die for. It's just a nice, girly, mother-daughter thing to do. :)

My nine year old daughter loved the Mrs. Potts tea. She got to drink chocolate milk out of fine china. They bring her a pot of her very own filled with Chocolate milk. Also the kitchen was very helpful in her request for just peanut butter sandwiches. I have been to afternoon tea to many places and this is the best so far. The princess blend is to die for. I have never drank so much tea at one sitting. You will love it. I had the grand tea.
I am returning in September. Can't wait!

I'm trying to get in for tea in December. Does anyone know if they only have tables for 2 or do they have larger tables to accomodate myself and my parents? Thanks.
