We are staying at hojo's on our trip coming up in November. We have three small kids, and we will have a large tandum stroller to haul them around.

I was wondering if the hojo is stroller friendly. As in being able to push the stroller (full of tired kids) right into our room at the end of the day.

TIA!

Totally! We did the same thing and had NO trouble. It was nice!:thumbsup2

Thank you so much for your fast response, and for easing my mind! :goodvibes

I was picturing us trying to haul all three kids and a huge folded down stroller up a flight of stairs, along with the rest of our "stuff". I feel much better now.:cool2:

No problem! In the big building they have elevators... I think the small ones only have stairs, you might want to call and make sure you are in building 1. That where the view rooms are, but they have non-view rooms on the other side of the building.

I emailed in the past and they told me Build 2 also has elevators.

Buildings 1 and 2 have elevators. The courtyard buidlings 3-6 in the center of the property are two-story and have no elevators. If you are in a queen/queen room, you should be in Bldg. 1 or 2, as bldgs. 3-6 are all double/double rooms.

Our reservations say buildings 3-6 so it looks like we will have stairs, unless we are on the ground floor. (I wonder if I can request to be on the ground floor?)
I talked to dh about it, and he said we would make it work no matter if we have to go up the stairs or not. I think he's so excited about how cheap our rate is, he doesn't care. :rotfl:

Thanks everyone! You have been most helpful. :)

Yes, you can definitely request first floor. I would call now and put it in your ressie, and then confirm the request at check-in. :thumbsup2

Call them...I am just about to post about their wonderful CS

One more thing....the rooms on the 2nd floor of bldg 3-6 have skylights. It is VERY light in there during the day. Not good for kiddos who need naps....

Call and make the request before you arrive, do it now.....they assign rooms before you arrive so if you wait till check in they will have more trouble accomidating your request.

I called them today. They said they would put a note on my reservations, and though they can't guarantee it, they will most likely be able to accommodate us. :thumbsup2

Thanks again! :)
