How would you schedule this day and FP?

So we are going Thanksgiving week and it looks like my nest shot for getting a SDD FP is if I try to schedule it for our last full day (11/26). If that is the case, we really only need one FP for HS because no one wants to ride TOT or RR. BUT I know I can't schedule FP in any other park unless I have used my first three and then park hop. SO, my question is, if I manage to get lucky and get a morning FP for SDD, should I schedule two other "throw-away" FP, go on SDD and then hop to MK and try to get additional FP for there the rest f the day? We do have PH so can easily hop, no problem. MK closes early that night so would make more sense to END at DHS, but then I can't schedule any FP in MK since I will be saving them for DSS. Thoughts?

Not quite:
PARK HOPPING

Booking a FP+ for another park while in the first park:

(test credit to @marciemi)

When 3 FP+ are booked for Park #1:
With the new updates to the FP+ system as of April 2016, in addition to booking your 4th FP+ of the day on your phone (instead of a kiosk), you can now book FP+ for a different park than the one you’re in. If you have booked 3 FP+ for the first park, as soon as you scan at the first touchpoint to get in the FP+ line for your third FP+, you can then make a 4th FP+, either for the same park, or for another park. Be sure to allow yourself enough travel time for travel between parks when selecting your time.

When_2 or less FP+ are booked for Park #1:
Additionally, the new changes allow you to book fewer than three FP+ and once you scan the first FP+ (from within the first park), you can at that point make FP+ selections for a different park, even if you still have a FP+ remaining in the first park.

This can be especially helpful for Tiered parks – if for example you wish to hit Epcot at rope drop, use only a Tier 1 FP+ and then still have 2 more FP+ for another park later in the day.

Additionally, there is no restriction on Tier requirements BETWEEN PARKS during one day. So if you use a Tier 1 at Epcot you can then book a second Tier 1 at HS immediately upon scanning – Also, you can even book your remaining two FP+ at two different parks if you would like!

NOTE: Splitting FP+ between parks or booking for another park can NOT be done until the same day, AFTER you have already scanned your card/MB at the first FP+ Mickey head to “prove” to the system that you’re in a park.

You cannot book for 2 different parks in advance or even on the same day until you have scanned your first FP+ (not just gotten into the park).

So based on the above info "when two or less FP are booked for park 1" what would you recommend I do? Just see what time (if any) I get a FP for SDD and then plan from there?

If Slinky and whatever else you'd like to do at DHS is a must, you could also make it a point to get there with ample time to spare before RD, and just take your chances on Stand By, and not even worry about a FP. Also, Monday, 11/26 is currently not an early closure day for MK on the disneyworld site's calendar. Perhaps it has changed since you last looked, or perhaps I'm glitchy. I was checking to see if they had any other November Monday DHS AM EMH's that would hopefully work in your favor. I'm there in early NOv, and the calendar has a Monday DHS EMH on an MK Party Day (Nov 5.) I'd assume they will remove the DHS EMH on that day, because it doesn't follow the recent EMH pattern, but you never know. I MIGHT try to hit that EMH, and then hop to MK with fingers crossed for awesome crowd levels on a 4:30pm closure day. All fp's are set for mk that day already, the assumption is that we'd wanna bolt very shortly after the HS EMH to enjoy an MK ghost town. Hoop De Doo at 4pm as well.

So, first of all, I wish you the utmost of Pixie Dust on your quest, and I hope you score a 9am FP for Slinky.

Realistically, I think you should be prepared to not score a FP. It's gonna be crazy crowded, and there will be plenty of ppl who will be able to grab those SDD fps before you during their trip. Again, I hope you score, but head up, and soldier on if you don't! I did my fp's last Saturday - I was set up to rock 15 minutes before the window opened. Nothing for SDD for the whole trip. I got exactly everything else I wanted - FOP at the exact time I wanted, but not even a sniff at SDD - not even time slots avail. I've heard nothing but similar stories.

Again, I hope you have Pixie Dust aplenty. Be prepared if you don't score. And check often if you don't, perhaps some will pop up.
Good Luck!

Meant to say 11/25 (Sunday, not 11/26)

Well, in that case, the calendar shows am EMH for Hollyweird for you!

If you can partake, I wouldn't FP it. I'd get up early and be there early for EMH rope drop.

If you are offsite....Personal opinion...I'd just go to MK, and not DHS at all. Personal opinion. I'm guessing DHS will be a madhouse by 9am.

Yup, staying at GF so could do EMH

I'd be IN LINE at DHS at 7:15 am with a few drinks/snacks for your party.
The beauty of am EMH is that many ppl try to make it on time, but life happens. If you make it a point to be there early, you'll (hopefully) be well rewarded.
I wouldn't rely on Disney trans to get there, either, if you can avoid it.
