How would this work? (re: code BAT)

I currently have a reservation 10/8-10/14 at POP with the AAA rate. When the code came out, of course I tried to save even more only to be told that the discount wasn't available for my dates. I've done more research and Expedia.com has $74 a night available Fri and Sun-Wed but not Sat 10/9. Disney.com has the rate Sun-Wed. So my question is, can I call and see if the discount can be applied to a portion of my stay? Will I have two reservations and have to check in and out again and switch rooms? Or should I just wait a couple weeks (like Disney told me over the phone) to see if anything becomes available? Any help/advise would be most appreciated.

I'm not totally sure I am reading all of your info right, but here's what I was going to do. I had a 4 night ressie pool view at AKL. Decided I wanted Savannah view, which was not available. But when I had the CM check it night by night, he had the first night available, so I booked it. He then said that I had TWO reservations, that I would have to go down to the front desk the morning after the night at SV, check out and check back in at my new reservation. Not a big deal. Finally after checking two more times, I was able to get all the days at the savannah view, and the kind CM merged my two ressies into one. Oh, and when I had the two ressies, they required a night's deposit on each..

I would hope that if you had the same view for your room, that they wouldn't make you change rooms. I can't see why they would?

You have to make two different reservations. The computer program can not except 2 different prices per night for one reservation. I just did it yesterday. If I was you I would do it ASAP becasue there are only a certain number of rooms available at discounted rate.
