I purchased an AP for our upcoming trip, which I need to activate when we arrive. We are arriving Friday night but won't go to the parks until Sunday. Saturday we are doing a Disney Springs/Resort day. I was planning on activating my AP cert at Disney Springs on Saturday (is this even possible? If so, where?). Also, I need to purchase a TIW card. Where can I do that? We have dinner at 'Ohana on Saturday night and I wanted to make sure we could use our TIW card for the discount at dinner. Thanks

Yes you can activate an AP at guest services at Disney Springs. There are two. I am blanking on the locations.

You can purchase at TIW at the same time you activate your AP.

I think there is a location in the "original" area of the Marketplace, in between the DVC Sales booth and Ghiaradelli Chocolates.

Go to the guest service at Disney Springs and they can do it all for you. It's right next to the Ghirardelli shop. This is the one we go to for our AP's when we've needed to. You could also go to the guest service at Disney Quest

Just realize that your expiration date for the annual pass will be 365 days from Saturday, when you activated the pass and not Sunday, when you first use the pass. Yes, there are some who don't realize this and then get upset later. I'm sure you are not one of them but wanted to point it out to others.
