In the past, my fiance has had his employer and his bank called to verify he "had roots" in Toronto when flying into the States (because he's brown) after secondary screening at the airport. As we prepare for our upcoming trip to Florida, we're hoping we have the bases covered by carrying with us:
- copy of our daughter's Catholic baptism certificate (no Muslim terrorist would ever allow that to happen!)
- copy of our mortgage papers
- copy of the deed to our property
- our work ID's
- letter of employment
Anything else you take with you to ease the process?
