We are travelling with a 1 year old and eating at CM our first night and I'm just wondering if he'll be overwhelmed. Do you find that earlier or later seatings are more wild? Presently we have a PS for 5:30 on a Sunday.

Thanks!

I've been to both an earlier seating and a later one. I think they were pretty similar.

It can be a little loud and "festive".

I guess it depends on your child. I don't think it would bother most 1 yr olds, but every child is different? :) There was a baby (looked around 15 months of age) sitting near us last time and she had no problems with the noise, but didn't want the characters coming anywhere near her!

I think your child will love it. I also think that 5:30 is a great time to go to CM's. The p.s.'s haven't been backed way up yet due to them taking some walk ins at opening and some parties who stay for long periods of time. The less wait with a 1 year old the better. I highly recommend checking in a little early if possible. Plus the food on buffets (IMO) is fresher and better earlier in the evening. Have a great time!
