How/when do we receive our Magic Bands?

We are renting points from a DVC member for a Dec. trip. We bought our park tickets from AAA. Will our magic bands come in the mail with our DME luggage tags? Can we link our tickets to our magic bands through MyDisneyExperience?

Yes, you enter your tickets on MDE and they will automatically link to your MB. You will get an email to customize your MBs and they will arrive about 2 weeks before your trip.

I’m not sure specifically about DVC but my bands showed up to my house last week on 26 days till trip.

Magic Bands are mailed separately from the DME documents. Make sure that you have linked your reservation confirmation in MDE. Then you can customize your MBs and ensure that the correct mailing address is on file.

The owner should handle setting up DME for you. It should go thru DVC Member Services and renters cannot contact them.

You can actually set your own DME trips up and do not need the DVC owner for that. You can call the DME number up or use the online reservation site below.

Policy dictates that the DVC owner must make the DME reservation. Disney allocates costs based on many factors and DVC member dues are supposed to cover the transportation costs associated with DVC stays. There may be some ways around it, but they aren’t supposed to allow it.
