How/when did I become a DIS Veteran?

I recently noticed that under my name it now says DIS Veteran. How and when did that happen? Also, how do you put one of those cute sayings under you name??

When you reached 76 posts, you became a DIS vet. You can go to your USER CP and go to edit profile, then on the current title add something there (up to 100 characters), or you can wait for the Tag Fairies (or TF's for short) to visit you. Only the TF's can add color, btw.

You become a Vet when your check clears Alex's account.
(In a more towards a more efficiant DIS government, you no longer have to send a check to CC)
