How wet do you get on rides-going in December

I have to agree with you. Rode it both days we were at the park and they put my big butt right in front each time. I'm not complaining as I'm the one that went back for more. Will just be better prepare this next trip.

Ponchos are meaningless to Tiana's Underwater Adventure! You'd need to be dressed like Captain Nemo to even have a chance at staying dry:



And even then, it's still kind of iffy!

Ponchos are pretty useless, I've seen many soaked people wearing ponchos. I agree that the further back you are the less likely to get fully soaked.

My husband has flat out declared he will never ride this ride again, that is how wet we've gotten the last few times we've ridden it. I used to ride Splash all the time and it was fine... a little wet but you were dry a few hours later. I wonder why they had to make this a soaker. We already have GRR for that.

They actually made it a soaker before the retheme when they changed out the boats or something and they just don't flow quite the same as they used to or something. My last few rides on Splash is when I got big-time soaked!

Also, just a note this only applies to the Disneyland verison of the ride. Tiana's at WDW does not get you soaked, but it uses bigger boats that seat side-by-side. You can still get a good splash, but it's nothing like where that huge wave engulfs the boat and leaves inches of water on the floor.

Yeah I had noticed it got wetter but we still rode it, just avoided row 1. This past trip though? INSANE.
