Question about transfers - can you transfer points into your account that have the same home resort as yours but have a different use year?

And, if so, can you bank them even if they have a different use year?

Seems very easy to understand how it would work if it was the same use year, but I'm a little confused how it could work with two UY that are transferred in.

Yes…you can get transfers for any resort and UY.

Points don’t change their rules even when transferred. So, you basically follow the same rules that the original owner would.

The UY or resort you have doesn’t play any role in what you can do with the transferred points.

I'm pretty sure I know the answer, but if I want to transfer points from another owner into my account and their points would be in 2026 UY, it would retain that UY upon transfer, even if my contract is still in the 2025 UY?

For example, I have a SEP UY. I would ideally want to transfer in points with a 2026 UY that is before July (as I already made a 2025 transfer but have not made a 2026 transfer) to book in summer of 2026. As July is before August 31, a booking with MY points would be in 2025, but if I - for example - transferred in points with a Feb UY, those would be 2026 points and valid for transfer, yes?
