How to work free font places?

CK has free fonts for a few days. I heard how to do this before(forget already) and sorry if it has been asked a million times.
What do I do to make them show up on my computer? TIA

On my system, I download them onto my desktop then unzip (usually they are zipped). Then I move them into my fonts folder in the Control Panel. This allows you to use them in Word or the paint/photo programs. Hope this helps!

Thank you for replying. Okay, I can do download to desktop and unzip but how do you move them to your fonts. I see them in Control panel but not sure how to get them there.

You can just select them (to select all click on each while pressing the CTRL key) and then drag them over to the fonts folder. Very easy!

Maple, did you get the fonts moved to the font folder? If not you can left click on the start button on the bottom left of the computer. Click setting, control panel and then double click fonts. At the top left of the fonts folder click file, then click install new fonts. On the bottom left make sure C: is selected. Then click desktop. All the fonts that you have on your desktop should appear in the top left box. Click select all on the right, then click ok. This will install all the fonts you have downloaded onto your desktop. After you install them into your fonts folder you can delete them from your desktop. Hope this helps!

I think that Stephres way may be a lot easier though.

Thanks for the link to the bonus fonts: I snagged them! Those weren't even zipped, so you can skip the unzipping step.
