How to word room request for AKL savannah?

Okay, I'm thinking that I want to be close to the lobby. Good or bad? I want a nice view, but not way down at the ends. Help!

Can't answer your question, as I've never stayed there, but I figured I'd bump this up in case others can.

IMHO I do not think that the savanna view rooms that are closest to the lobby have great views. When we go I just request a view of the Arusha Savanna and both times we have gotten great views. About half way down on the Zebra Trail overlooking the Arusha Savanna.

I would also do the opposite request, but I'd go even further and request the very ends! I know it is a walk (and it is!) but it is so nice out there! We never commando walk, and we actually end up stopping frequently when there is something to watch outside the windows on the way down the hall. Whatever you decide, you're going to LOVE AKL!
