How to travel between resorts - Univ & Disney

Hi all - wanted to know if there is transportation between Universal and Disney World. We are renting a car and staying at WDW, BUT want to go over to City Walk at Universal at night and don't want to drive there and back -want someone else to be the designated driver .

Any suggestions on the best way? Are there buses? Taxi's (expensive?), shuttles?

Mears shuttle $12 each way per person and FL tours is about the same- cabs probably the same- I asked same question.

Welcome aboard.

Rental car is the best idea. Parking is free after 6pm.
Just stay straight and wait until you get back to Disney to party. This is what the trip will look like.

If you really want to party, then hire the shuttle service.

No no....if you REALLY want to party, then scrap your disney plans and do Universal instead. Stay on site, so you can just jump the boat back to your hotel, and use your room keys as express passes for FOTL access at Universal. Dont let someone slip you the Mickey

I would if I could! But, we are going for a conference and wanted to go out somewhere at night. Our conference is on Disney property. :-( Thanks for the suggestion though, might go extra days and stay on-site at Univ for one/two nights!
