How to take two umbrella strollers if not using one all the time?

If you don't like the idea of parking it for later, you could use the extra one for bags and souvenirs or anything you don't want to carry. We have three kids, and we bring the umbrella stroller and the double for them. When someone is up walking and doesn't want to ride, we use the empty one for bags.

Just don't forget to bring it all on the rides with you - don't leave bags of souvenirs in strollers! I wouldn't even leave a diaper bag on a stroller.

I do own a double stroller but I don't want to bring it on and off the buses. I think I'm going to take two umbrellas and just push the open one if necessary. Thank you all for your advice and replies. I can't wait to go! 71 days and counting

Won't handling two strollers be just as hard, or harder than one double on the buses? Or is the double one huge? I'd still ask around and see if anyone you know has a lightweight double you could borrow.

We used two Maclaren Volo strollers.

90% of the time we pushed both, but they have a shoulder strap and only weigh a few pounds so it was no big deal to toss it over your shoulder and carry one. They also have a mesh basket underneath so you can stand the folded stroller in the basket and loop the strap over the handle of the open stroller if you don't want to carry it.

Also, I don't know your touring plan details, but you may find that you can go without the extra stroller in the mornings, go back to the room for a nap/break, and then use both strollers in the evening.

I would just park the second near a central area like the previous poster stated maybe near the carousel. Then if needed grab it.
