How to spread pixie dust to other guests

I'd love some ideas for little things you can do to spread pixie dust to other guests (especially children) while in WDW.

One thing I'd like to do is have a lot of stickers on hand and give them out to kiddies around us in line.

I'd love to hear some other ideas for little things we can do.

I'm going to bring glowsticks for my kids everynight. I was planning to bring some extra with me for kids who look like they need a pick-me-up.

We always let kids stand in front of us, with our kids, at parades and shows as long as their parents say it is OK. There is usually plenty of room anyway.

Stickers aren't a bad idea, but my daughter has been taught not to take things from strangers. She has been approached with stickers before from people she doesn't know and she has never taken them, thankfully. What about hand stamps instead?

My daughters passed out glowsticks & bracelets @ the fireworks every night. They had a great time & surprised a lot of other kids.

Offer to take a picture of the whole family if you see a mom or dad taking a picture of the kids with or without the other parent. I know that I would love for someone to do that for our family so I always try to do it when I get the chance.

I bought a lot of glow bracelets at the dollar store for my DGD to hand out at the night parades and Fantasmic. I've never done it before, but it sounded like a nice idea.

On our last trip we had small bottles of bubbles for our kids; I think I got them in Target's Dollar Spot- 6 small bottles for a buck! They were packaged to sell for weddings, but worked great for vactaion! We let our kids give extras out to other kids around when we were waiting for shows and such. Even when we were out of the extras, my kids entertained other kids with what they had left in their little fanny packs.

This year I have lots of the glow sticks from Dollar Tree and will probably do the same with them as we did the bubbles. You can get 2 in a pack for $1 and they come with a plastic/vinyl piece to make them into necklaces or they have the braclet kits that make 6 bracelets- perfect for sharing!

i always offer to take the pictures. my family makes fun of me bc i make it my mission while we are there. i also think offering seats to parents with small kids on any mode of transportation is a big help.

On one of out trips a young woman gave my daughter her mouse ears. My little girl was 2 at the time and she was thrilled. We were on the boat on the way into the Magic Kingdom on our first day.
Since then we always try to spread pixie dust even if it's just by smiling at people.

Yes, this is huge. It amazes me the number of men who sit in a seat and there is moms with small kids standing. (at least that is how it was on our shuttle at Disneyland)
We always offer up our seats to moms with little kids, senior citizens, or anyone with handicaps. We have taught our children this already (they are 8 and 11)

Give away any fast passes that you decide not to use - OR - Sometimes when we know we are leaving the park I will FP something that we walk by on the way out, just for the sole purpose of giving them away.
That way the receiving family can still use their tickets to get FPs for something else!

We have given people our FP's - before they expire.

We once gave up our H&V Fantasmic reservation to a family who somehow had their reservation screwed up.

We share individually packed wet-ones with other families.

We give up seats on buses to those who need one (elderly, crutches, Mom's with the under 3 crowd)

Ditto with taking pictures of whole families.

my DH and i honeymooned in wdw 14 years ago and i like to walk up to couples wearing the bride and groom mouse ears, congratulate them and tell them we honeymooned in wdw "X" # of years ago, and we hope their marriage is as happy as ours.

This isn't too much of a help but I always look for Happy Birthday buttons and I wish them a happy birthday. It's funny because sometimes people forget they are wearing the button. haha. It seems to make them happy. These ideas are all great!

Do you allow her to take the stickers if she is with you? I mean if a stranger behind you in a parade spot offers her some, would you let her take them then? It struck me as a little odd that she wouldn't be allowed to take stickers in Disney World but I don't have children so I'm no expert.

We used our extra snack credits and counter service credits to treat people behind us in line (or, in the case of ice cream stands, nearby kids who looked like they were wearing out -- after checking with their parents, of course.) It got a massive smile every time! We also did the glow-bracelet thing and will do that again this year -- our kids loved sharing them with the kids nearby while waiting for spectro/fireworks to start. Sharing fastpasses really seemed to be well received, too; if we had ones we knew we weren't going to use, we'd go to the fastpass area or the end of the regular line and offer them to someone. Once I had someone ask me what they were, though: obviously not a DISer!

I agree that taking pics for families is an awesome way to spread pixie dust, too. Someone did that for us and took the only pic of us ALL together that we got on the entire trip!

And finally, one of my favorites -- on the night we arrived, it was absolutely pouring rain, and someone's early-teenage son (I think they were waiting for their dad to come around with their car) ran out into the rain as we came in from the parking lot and offered to help me carry our luggage in to the sheltered area over the sidewalk, where his mom and little sister were waiting. He made 3 or 4 trips out into the rain until we had it all in! I was so amazed by his kindness, and it really made an impression on me -- so now I try to pass the favor along when I see other families struggling with loads of luggage!

We rented a stroller at the parks every day, and as we were leaving we'd pass it off to a family with a toddler that didn't have a stroller for them and that "WOW, we've just stepped into "X" for the first time!" look. I'm hoping we made several 2-4 year olds days at the parks a LOT better than walking around.

I love all these ideas!! I am going to buy stickers and glo sticks so I can take them with me in 12 days. I love doing things, little or small just to make someone happy~it makes me happy!!

--I volunteer to take pictures.
--I offer my seats for transportation, parades, fireworks, etc.
--I spend time chatting with the person left holding the bag/watching the stroller/etc.
--I'll offer directions, explain FP, etc. to those folks who obviously need a little assistance but haven't yet asked anyone.
--I now pack a laminated sign that says "Please Share Our Table" because DH and I don't take up much room.
--I have replaced dropped ice-cream cones and escaped balloons.
