How to sell by owner?

We are thinking about selling our DVC points to our daughter and son-in-law. Is it possible to sell it ourselves or do we have to use an agent/broker?

I would suggest contacting Disney for the paperwork to sell points directly to a family member. They should be able help you out.

I don't think the Disboards allows you to post exactly what you own as then might be perceived as a "FOR SALE" post. When I quoted you I just put that you owned points. If you adjust your post to just say you own points I think you would be safe.

As Jason said, contact DVC Member Administration (same number, but not Member Services) and ask them. I believe they change ownership between parents and kids as a courtesy for minimal cost and automatically waive ROFR.
