DH and I are going to WDW in October. We have 5 kids - 5mth and 3, 5, 7 and 9yrs. All but the infant can and will want to ride Tomorrowland Speedway, but none are above 54 inches to drive. The 5 year old and definitely the 3 year old would not be okay being without an adult in line or to exit by themselves. The 7 and 9 year old would be fine by themselves. DH plans to ride with the kids but he is on the larger side. Will they let me, with the baby, wait in line, but not ride? Or could I wait at the exit? I’m trying to figure out how DH can ride multiple times with all kids, but at the same time never have the 3 and 5 year old without an adult.

I don't see why not, folks do that all the time...at least they did the LAST time I rode, lol. :rotfl:

Things change so much from trip to trip...

What days were you planning on going? We're going to be there on the 2nd-5th. We've got little ones too, but at least LH and I have each other!

Also, they do a rider swap for parents with little ones attached. If you wanted to switch out and give it a go too, I think they might let some ride twice, but I don't remember the cut off number.

It's not the policy to allow ANYONE under the height/age limit for the ride into the line.

Only the 7 and 9 year old can be in line alone. But since they aren't tall enough to ride alone, this seems like it'll be a time for DH to really get to know that line. :)

Sorry OP, I think your best bet is for dh to ride it over and over again. Disney does not allow anyone in the line that does not meet the height requirement, so the baby cannot be in the line. Also, there is no good place for each child to wait while another is on the ride with dad, so they can't go in as a group.

He rides with two kids at a time doing two laps with a driver switch between Laps so each child has a chance to ride. (I could not ride one trip and this is what my husband did with the kids.)

Two kids wait with you and then he takes then on next following same process. (Or you take them.)

I am not certain they have a baby swap so he may have to wait in line twice. If so, do this first thing and wait will be minimal and every kids gets to ride and drive.
