How to request a certain site?

I was wondering how can you request to stay in a particular site?? I have been going to the Fort for 25 years and have never requested a site but I have noticed over the years more and more people are always able to stay in their favorite site.

I think it boils down to if you make your reservation far enough in advance that you can request it if it's Available. I would think, however, it would require an actual phone call to ensure this.

The sites are not assigned until about 5 days from your arrival date, so booking well in advance does not play into it as I was told by a CM. You can request using your My Disney Experience App. or by calling them. They will note the request, but will not guarantee it. Lot's of things can influence it. The old route used to be faxing the request at 5 days out, but this is no longer encouraged as the request can easily be lost in a paper shuffle.

I have never gotten a requested site. One year I didn't even get in the loop of the requested site. Good luck. It would be nice if you get your request.

You probably saw us discussing LOOP requests and not so much site requests. Site requests are almost impossible because it has to open/available on your arrival day and chances are more than likely that someone will be on it when you arrive.

I just called yesterday and requested loop 300 (pet loop). They noted it on my reservation but said that it couldn't be absolutely guaranteed.
