My neighbor has a beautiful peony growing next to our fenceline. Last year I noticed it had sprouted several stalks in our yard. It is spreading right underneath our Dogwood, where it will never get enough light to survive. How can I move these little guys to a sunnier area? I have read that peonies do not like to be divided, so how do I get them in a better spot? Thanks buches!!

I wish I could help you sorcerormickey, but I'm peony-less (I don't think that's a real word..lol).

I know that some of our Buds do have them, and hopefully they can give you some advice. :)

Ooooohh......Good info Gina!!:D

I guess all I can do is try! If I kill them, there's always more  .

Gina's link has great info. And, just so you don't get discouraged that first year after planting them, I am going to post a link to a previous post on this board showing the difference my transplanted peonies made from one year to the next. Hoping for even more blossoms this coming May.

Here is the link: Click Here

Oh, I just love posting links to my previous photos..... :teeth: This way, they get to come back from virtual neverland and be looked at again!

:teeth: :teeth: :Pinkbounc :teeth: :teeth:
