How to make room requests?

We are staying at Bay Lake Towers next month. We are not owners but are renting points via David's and was wanting to make a couple of request. Specifically (Upper Floor, North Tower, Even Numbered Room). I know it is unlikely that I will get all (if any) of those requests, but if I don't ask, I definitely won't. Via online registration the only one of those three that are available to choose is Upper Floor. I recall several years back on one of our previous trips we made a request and was able to do it directly to the resort (fax). Is there anyway to submit requests directly to the resort or are the 4 options at online check-in all you get now.

You will need to contact your rental company and ask them to have the owner you are renting from add the request to the reservation. Good luck, I rented at BLT last fall and made the exact same requests, and I did get exactly what I asked for. Watching the MK fireworks from our balcony while DGS slept was amazing!

It's my first time making room requests. I'm trying to make requests for AKV Kidani and the only options showing are upper floor, near lobby, near elevator and near transportation. We have a savannah view studio and only there for one night. Which should I request? I thought we could request things like Sunset Savannah?

I do have a reservation for a savannah view studio.

When we stayed in a savannah view room, the list did ask which one we wanted. Looks like they don't offer that option any more. I would guess 90% asked for the sunset savannah so they quit asking. You could try calling MS or do a CHAT session.

Once you decide just send MS an email from the member website contact button. They will add the request to your reservation and email you back when done.

If you make specific requests via Member Services, don't do any requests on line unless they are the same. They may get dropped when you do the online requests. Plus limit your requests to two. Any more and they drop off. List the two based on priority.

DVC doesn't accept faxes.

We have very specific room requests when we go to aulani...ewe tower, floor 10 or above and in the 50 number series. I always call CS after I make the reservation online and have them insert into the reservation. Then I call again a couple of mnths before we arrive just to confirm. We have never been disappointed.

Sunset savanna, lower floor (for better viewing of the animals).

I used Touring Plans fax request. They sent it at 5 days out. I wanted your exact request and got what I wanted (room 8408). It was PERFECT!!!

Not all resorts will use faxed requests, some have told me that they don't have the time. Adding requests to the reservation is a better option IMO.
