How to make $3600 on your disney vacation! WE DID!! NEW 9/3*The Epilogue, DONE* p. 54

dang it Donna!! I was still reading!!!

I also am not a ‘shopper’ like many of my female compatriots.
I know baby. But you know about my plans to assimilate you right?? Resistance is futile!!! :teeth:

In all honesty, you KNOW I love how you write. Oh-so-very-expressive.

Just like you!!!

I was excited to log on and see you'd posted a new installment! Your reports are so much fun to read :) and I'm hoping you are able to add another one soon.

Yay! So glad you're back. I'm still very curious when you get that other $1600. How long are you going to leave us hanging?

De-cluttering is a fastpass.

I am in the stage of my life of wanting less stuff. Emotional clutter is stressful to me. We have this big old house with lots of antiques and well, stuff. I really just want to sell it all….And live in a house or flat designed by the LeCourbusier. For any of you who did not major or minor in art. He was an architect of the minimalist movement. Someone actually asked me what one does with a major like art the other night….What a sad thing, that a person would not understand the value of esthetics….and the importance of appreciating the context of art and architecture in our society. It is everywhere, in literature, music, religion, buildings, and even in Disney reports….

Beautifully said, my eloquent friend. Half the Fixers are of this mindset and we constantly try to rehab DH and DS6.

I must tell you, though.....
Your boys look absolutely precious in The LEGO Store. I especially like the sword hidden in the back of the pants. My E coerced his grandmother into the whole LEGO sword bit so I know every piece of that section well.

I also LOL at the conversation about why-do-you-travel-with-your-children. That's why we come to these boards! Everyone reading is nodding in agreement with you:).

Great chapter and good to see you back!

Thanks Jamal! Grammy J is not a shopper either, for herself or her grandkids. So my poor babies were deprived. I am glad to hear your E prevailed! And yes, I hope others do know that Conversation! It happens so often, it must be the prevalent view! We Dissers are a unique group, but heck, look at the park attendance. There are clearly alot of joie de vive parents out there. I just do not run into them many places but here!

Gosh, Punkin's Mom! I am sorry! I don't mean to be coy, but that story is at the end! So don't read anymore until you see "Final Installment" those of you who are only here to learn how to score some bucks! :teeth:

And thank you again for your photographic addition to this trippie. Ariel's wardrobe malfunction was the funniest thing on our trip, and we were so sad to miss the photo op to keep it alive in our memories!

First Mickey, thanks for posting! You too, Sheridac! Shopping at Disney is something you might try to sway me on, but not sure it will work...I am half tomboy, you know. CPer's Mom, glad I made ya' happy today. :teeth: Everyone should be. This is after all the Dis, a site about the Happiest Place on Earth! So let us all be of good cheer whilst we are logged on here! :yay:

I'm really enjoying your reports. I agree with the clutter issue. My husband is a pack rat and I am not. We just had a yard sale yesterday. I am just sick of all the stuff. Having three kids has really made me simplify my home. I managed to weasel some things away from my husband to sell in the yard sale...... when he wasn't looking. LOL. ANyways, keep the trip reports coming. I'm lovin em!

Horsegirl -

Welcome back! I couldn't believe how hooked I got reading your trip report, and I'm sure that being so close to my return trip heightened the excitement even further. I was majorly bummed when I saw that there were no more installments and had seen that you hadn't posted in a while.

I'm leaving for WDW in 4 days with my DH  , and was absolutely thrilled to read more of your report. I hope you get to write more before my trip. But, if not, don't worry. I'll be back to see how your report ends. I'm loving every minute of it. I feel like we're right there with you.

Thanks for the next installment. Its like waiting for your favorite authors new novel to come out!! I have been sending these to my DH on his business trips. He gets such a kick out of the description of the kids, because I swear our kids must be related!! :rotfl:

Even down to the paranoia about germs in the rooms, it sounds so much like our family. I REFUSE to sleep with those NASTY blankets...Dont even get me started on those airplane pillows and blankets either! Lysol is my best friend on trips with Clorox Wipes.

Way back when, before TV's and sech, they had people who wrote for the local papers and they were paid by the word and they wrote in installments . You would have been a thousandaire back in those days. (gotta take into consideration inflation and all and a thousand was BIG BUCKS then). :teacher:

It is not that you COULD be a writer but the fact that you ARE one, whether you are aware of that fact or not. :thumbsup2

I have to admit that I hang around here so that I can find out how you got the other bucks but it is only cause I wanna see if I am right in how you did it. :sunny:

I am a Frank Lloyd Wright kind of non clutterer myself. Can you imagine how long it is going to take me to declutter this 18 room storage shed? :rotfl2:

I do not give up easily and I am patient, most of the time, so I will nicely await the unfolding of this tale. Just please remember that some of us are not young as yourself and may well pass away, while being entertained, before you get around to devulging your money making secrets. :lmao:

You can always start another thread and we will follow you wherever you go after you reveal this ending. :cheer2:

Slightly Goofy

Horsey,

I'm so glad you're back - I've been waiting patiently for you to keep writing - and as usual, you don't disappoint. Thanks again for coming back and letting us see into your wonderful family!

Ahhh...Horsey, you are BACK!!! Loved every single syllabel, vowel, verb, word, sentence, paragraph that I just READ!!!!!!!!!!!!! :rotfl2:

That picture of the babes  in the LEGO store is = PRICELESS!!!!

Awaiting patiently for moreeeeeeeeee...........

Very nice installment, as usual, Horsey. You really do have a way of capturing the moment (I can just picture your little tyke on the floating metal pontoon). Also have a similar reaction to DTD -- can take or leave it. I'm not much of a shopper either. Of course, that's fairly typical of guys, I suppose. :teeth: Looking forward to the rest of the journey.

I don't know how you can remember all of this in such detail over this lenght of time. I have been to Disney and back since I have started reading your Thread and I don't have all the little details in my brain. Where's the other $1600?

Nice report!

Although I have to admit I'm still into clutter (in the from of cute t-shirts and discreet disney watches).

I love people watching at DTD too.

I'm so glad you enjoyed your time with your daughter though. The ears look cute!

Well you have given me an idea. I think the menfolk should all stake out the parade and fireworks spots, while the women go shopping. Clearly the kids would want to stay with the dads.... :teeth: Is an hour and a half enough time to get a spot? That's almost enough time for a massage for the ladies at the Ivy Trellis!

Slightly Goofy. That is just about the nicest thing anyone could say, and as I have never written anything but packing and grocery lists, no I am not a writer! But your sweetness really really meant alot. BTW, Please do not die. I will hurry up here....I promise. :teeth:

Ohboyx3- Do not buy anymore Disney paraphenalia. I won't if you don't.

NJFreak- Have a wonderful trip! And condsider writing a trippie upon your return. Come to think about it, how about penning a pre-trippie right now?

Momrek06- Thank you for loving my pic of the lego store. My littlest had that sword right down his pants. KJMax1 would love the germs on that sword! :rotfl2:

Speaking of....

KJMax1- Lysol is a good tip. I will pack some for my next trip in August. And the strollers at the parks are another breeding ground for germ colonys. EEEEEK! Don't forget to wipe it down! And any handles anywhere. Use your foot in the bathrooms to flush! :teeth: What about all the handles on the rides?! OMG, I just thought of that. I guess I need to wear white gloves like Michael Jackson next time at Disney. Wait a minute! Mickey Mouse wears them! NO WONDER!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :lmao:

kimberh- The rest of the bucks come at the end. Sorry! Can't give the end out til I am done. Do you read magazine's backwards? :teeth:

SNAP, figmentfan704 :dance3: yes, but i still like, brandt79, Webmaster Kathy, Oh Mari, Blake NJ, THANKS!
