I LOVED the "Coffee rubbed" K.c. Steak at Le Cellier. I have searched all over for the "Rub" recipe but cannot seem to find it.

I love putting different dry rubs on my grilled food but cannot find this recipe. Does anyone know where I might be able to locate it?

Thanks:)

Are you talking about the Hazelnut butter with cream cheese on top? I hope you get the recipe, I love that!

Here is one recipe for the hazelnut butter...
Ingredients:
1/2 cup toasted hazelnuts -- chopped
1/2 cup butter -- softened
1 teaspoon honey

Directions:

In a small mixing bowl stir together hazelnuts, butter, and honey. If not serving immediately, cover and chill. Bring to room temperature before serving.

I haven't seen it in any of the published recipes to date. Next time you visit there or know anyone going have them ask! Many recipes for foods cooked there are already printed and can be had just by asking!!! Good luck!!

I am going to move this over to the Cooking board. They have a huge thread dedicated to Disney recipes. :goodvibes

Have you checked our huge Disney recipe thread? Here is the Index--

if it's not there you could try emailing guest relations (the email should be with that thread if you need it) and request the recipe. Be as specific as possible and include your reservation confirmation number if you still have it.

You can also make a request in our recipe thread , maybe one of the collectors has it in their files. :)

This is not the recipe from LC, but it IS delicious!

Java Rubbed Strip Steaks

4 strip steaks, about 1 1/2 inches thick

The Java Rub

2 tablespoons ground coffee
1 tablespoon pepper
2 teaspoons salt
1 teaspoon garlic powder
2 teaspoons chili powder
1 teaspoon oregano
1/2 teaspoon sugar

In a small bowl, combine the rub ingredients. Rub steaks with a generous amount of the spices. Cover and refrigerate for 1 - 4 hours.

Heat grill to high. Grill steaks about 6 - 7 minutes per side for medium rare. Remove steaks from the grill and let rest for 5 - 10 minutes before slicing.
