how to get to/from mini golf

Tentatively, we are planning on staying at Corononado Springs Resort this fall. One thing we have never done in all of our stays is mini golf. How do you get to and from your resort to mini golf? I'm thinking the one by Blizzard Beach would be closest to Coronado Springs.

Would we just take the bus to Blizzard Beach? Would you then have to walk a ways? Or we could do a taxi, but would they be there waiting after we were done golfing?

Theortically the Winter Summerland mini-golf course at Blizzard Beach is within walking distance of Coronado Springs; There are sidewalks the entire distance from Coronado to Blizzard Beach to the All-Star Resorts. However, it would be quite a long hike (20-25 minutes or more ???) if your room is one of the farther locations from the Coronado lobby.

A bus to/from Blizzard Beach from your resort will take your directly there.

yup blizzard beach is closest! you can take the bus there and it is right next to the entrance to the water park...fun course! never been to the other one, but there is no direct transport to it, you have to bus to a nearby hotel and walk....

I will second take the bus. We played the Winter Summerland last trip and it is a good course. Have fun.

It's approx a 1 mile walk from the lobby of CSR to Winter-Summerland mini golf.

If you want to go after BB has closed for the day, you can take the Epcot bus. The Epcot bus from CSR stops at BB before going to Epcot, right up until Epcot closing.

You can take that same bus from BB to Epcot when you are done, and from there take the bus back to CSR.

One more question: What if we are golfing after both Epcot and Blizzard Beach are closed? I have read that Winter Summerland stays open until 11pm. Is there any way to get or leave there after around 9pm, or do they assume you have your own transportation? Or would they still be running Epcot busses than late?

The Epcot buses run to BB until exactly 11 p.m., so you need to finish up around 10:45 so you can be at the bus stop by 11.

Picking up at BB is the exception to the rule that you can't go back to a closed park --- but in practice, after Epcot is closed the driver will usually ask where you're going and just drop you at your resort.

As a last resort, remember that BB is only 1 mile from CSR, so a taxi would only be about $5.

Sorry, I can't answer this 100% for sure.

Normally the bus from AKL to DHS stops at BB. I think these buses are still stopping there during the rehab, but I'm not sure. If they are, the bus's marquee will show "HOLLYWOOD STUDIOS" for a few seconds and then switch to "BLIZZARD BEACH".

If all else fails a cab from AKV Kidani lobby would be approx $8-$10 plus tip each way.
