How to get to Dover from Heathrow Airport

We are going on a cruise that leaves from Dover. What is the easiest way to get there from Heathrow Airport.? After the cruise we are going to London and staying near Victoria Station, what is the best way to get there?

I think your best bet would be national express or hiring a car for the day. Train is an option too, you would get the tube to London and then the train from there

The cheapest will be National Express coaches but probably the easiest too as there will only be one change. Train would probably be faster but you will have to change twice and it will be more expensive.

Just in case for USA people Am I right in thinking that " National Express " is a Bus / Coach Co.

And " The Tube " is the Underground train .
