how to get to Discovery Cove

Does anyone know the cost to get to Discovery Cove from the Disney hotels? Is it easy to catch a taxis? Is there a bus to take you there? Is DC worth the price? My daughter would love to go and Im thinking of surprising her

We went to Discovery Cove about 4 years ago and the kids still talk about it. DH raised an eyebrow when I told him about the price but when I broke it down as to what we were getting then he was fine with it. We thought it was WELL worth the money! Loved every minute and cant wait to do it again someday...

Can't help you with getting there since we always have a rental car but is it worth it...YES.

We went for the first time in 2007 when DD was 8 and she loved it. Then last year they were offering a great price and we went again in Sept. I hope we can go again in another year or so. My DSis and her DH are going in May for their anniversary based on my review and pictures.

Plus you get another park, for free, with your DC purchase.

Took DD there in August 2009 and taking other DD there this October. It is expensive but one of those days you'll never forget. The park is amazing, so beautiful and relaxing. They take care of everything. Food was wonderful, snorkeling great, bird aviary, dolphin experience. It is all just done so well. You get breakfast and lunch and snacks all day (and good stuff, not a cheap cheesy lunch) plus you get a day at Sea World or Aquatica or Busch Gardens too so when I used my Fuzzy Disney Math it just made it not so hard to sell DH on the price.

We did a taxi from Pop and this was in 2009 but if I recall it was around the $25 mark.
