How to get to AKL from Off Site hotel.

We will be staying at the Comfort Suites Maingate East but have dinner reservations for Wed night at Boma in the AKL. Does the monorail run to the resorts too or will we have to get a cab?? soo confused!

Once you get onto Disney property (Pleasure Island included) you can take Disney buses. Most offsite hotel shuttles take you to the MK parking lot and from there you take the monorail or ferry to MK and from there take the bus to AKL (without going up to the turnstiles or entering MK). From Pleasure Island or Marketplace, take the AKL bus.

A cab is going to be the easiest way to get there but not the cheapest. The problem with the off site hotel shuttles is their frequency and their pickup / drop off times.

If you can get to the TTC using the shuttle, you still have to get to the Magic Kingdom to transfer to a Disney bus to get to the Lodge. You are looking at about an hour each way (it is less time if you don't have to wait for a bus) and then have to make sure that you can catch a shuttle back to your hotel.

There is no monorail service to AKL.

GET ON THE INTERNET AND CALL UP COMFORT SUITES AT KISSIMMEE, FL. 2775 FLORIDA PLAZA BLVD. CLICK ON MAP, THIS TAKES YOU TO THE SECOND PAGE. THIS SHOWS YOU GOING WEST ON US 192 <IRLO BRONSON> SOON YOU WILL GO OVER/UNDER ? I-4, NOT VERY FAR YOU WILL SEE SIGNS FOR WDW WORLD DRIVE. TURN NORTH OR RIGHT AND NOT TOO FAR IN YOU WILL SEE SIGNS FOR AKL/AK. THIS ROAD IS OSCEOLA PRKWY. FOLLOW THE SIGNS. YOU WILL BE GOING WEST ON OSCEOLA. I BELIEVE THERE IS ONE STOP-LIGHT <SHERBETH ROAD> WHEN YOU ARE GETTING CLOSE TO THE AKL. WATCH VERY CAREFULLY AS YOU GET CLOSE AS THE ROAD TO AK VEERS OFF TO THE RIGHT AND THE ROAD TO AKL VEERS TO THE LEFT. WOULD THINK THAT IT WOULD NOT TAKE MORE THAN A HALF HOUR TO GET THERE IF TRAFFIC IS NOT TOO BAD. DON'T FORGET THAT YOU WILL HAVE TO PARK AND GET TO THE RESTAURANT. IS PROBABLY LESS THAN 6 MILES.
