I searched but couldn't find it. For dining, does Disney try to seat people groups together that are the same age or have some commonality?

Thank you. My adult child booked a cruise with a friend. It was a good price so my spouse and I booked the same cruise. We made sure our rooms were on different floors so that they have their space. I'm thinking they might have more fun having dinner with other young adults than with mom and dad. If the assignments are random and they are put with an older couple, they might as well sit with us.

Yes, two young adults are likely (but not certain) to be put with other pairs of young adults for dinner. When I cruised with my kids, we were seated with other families with kids around the same age as ours. When my husband and I cruised on our own after the kids were grown, we were seated with other older couples without kids.

I've only been on one disney cruise, but they did a good job pairing us. I (36 at the time) was with my parents and they paired us with another group of 3 that was two older ladies that were sisters and with their nephew that was prob mid late 20s.

how do you think they will group a table of 6 . Will we be alone or with another group?

on the Treasure three weeks ago they sat my husband and I with two other couples. One couple were Japanese and barely spoke English. I felt bad because they were so nice. Thankfully the other couple was from Louisiana. We've never been put with people who I haven't liked, even at tables of four but I prefer six. Less of a chance of awkwardness. :rotfl:
