how to get pins

We have been to Disney twice last year and have never recieved a pin
where does Disney get your email from to send you pins?

There is no exact way to get pins, heaven knows if there was all the Disers would ALWAYS travel with a pin.

My sister, who has been once, has received no less than four pins in her email. I have been five times and have never gotten a pin.

So... I asked her what she did. She said that she signed up on the Disney website, saved a few vacation offers and they just showed up. Now, there is no science to it, but if that worked for her, it couldn't hurt!

I've had an account on the Disney site for a couple of years, and I made sure to check the box allowing Disney to email me with offers, but I had never gotten any. I had made sure to include the Disney email in my contact list so that gmail wouldn't put incoming emails into the spam box, but after reading this forum yesterday, I decided to check the spam box just in case, and lo and behold, there was a pin offer for Disneyland in there. It turns out that they have different email addresses that they use for the offers and other communication, so be sure to check your spam box from time to time to be sure that you aren't missing incoming emails. The new address from them is now in my contact list as well, but who knows how often they add new addresses.

Unfortunately, I don't have the funds or vacation time to travel this year, so I won't be able to use the offer, but I can always hope that I get one near the time that I plan my next Disney vacation.

Last week I saved a few offers for the dates that I wanted to go (in Aug). and I did get an e-mail for free dining in mid Aug thru the beginning of Oct. Don't know if that had anything to do with it.
But I have gotten many pins before, last year I got them all the time but we did the 4/3 deal. Then, I was getting Pins like crazy when we came back in May 09 for the summer of 09. I received 2 in 1 week in Sept. then did not get anything until just this past week.
Weird how it works.

go to the WDW website, www.disneyworld.com, and register, than order the vacation planning DVD, maybe price a vacation and save it. This does not mean you will get a PIN Code; but it cant hurt. Take the survey too. Good Luck
