Good luck with that. Disney owns Marvel and Disney takes no unsolicited material.

Another publisher wouldn't touch it with a ten-foot pole, if you are using Marvel/Disney characters....or are you talking about your own characters that have nothing to do with Marvel/Disney characters?

Using both Marvel/Disney characters for my comic, why?

All Disney/Marvel characters are privately and rigorously defended intellectual property. Were you to attempt to do ANYTHING with them other than doodle on your own for fun you will likely be slapped with a cease-and-desist letter at best and a full on lawsuit at worst. Sorry.

That is simply fan fiction there is no way for you to get it actually published.

Sorry Mr. X, you're obviously a devoted fan, but it's copywrite infringement. Why don't you make up your own characters and create an original comic book? My nephew started collecting comic books when he was a little kid, then grew up drawing and got a job in a comic book store. A customer came in one day and saw his drawing and hired him on the spot fas a graphic artist. He's doing a lot of cool things with his talent now with some awesome projects, it's like a dream come true. Follow your dream, but make it your dream. :thumbsup2

P.S. here's a link to a Comic Book Anthology, ZombieBomb, that my nephew was the co-art director...it was picked up by Terminal Press.

I Know is my fan fiction, but i want to turn it into a Comic Book.

It will be 4-issues.

I also made my own videogame based on it for Wii U, Xbox 360, Playstation 3, Nintendo 3DS, Playstation Vita, PC, Android and iOS.

I'm sorry, but you can't get permission to distribute it publicly. Ever. Disney owns all of those characters, and no matter how or who you ask, they don't give others permission to use them in their own books, movies, comic books, etc.

You won't be able to get the game made, either.

I know you've put a lot of time and thought into the comic book and game story, and you can enjoy them yourself, and show them to your friends, but if you want to make comic books and games for public, commercial distribution, you can only use characters and stories that you've made up yourself. You can't use characters or stories that were created by other people, not without their permission, and big companies like Disney and Marvel don't ever give that permission. They have their own in-house groups that make comics and games based on their characters.

No comic book publisher or game developer/distributor will produce or distribute your Disney/Marvel comics or games, because they can't. It would break copyright laws. Disney would certainly sue them, and Disney would win.

Ok, You win!

My Disney/Marvel Comic Book will be completely private to enjoy it all by Myself and sharing with my friends.

And possible video game, will be for myself and not for wider audience.

You mean Disney won? I doubt any of US have any stake in this at all :rotfl:

Someday if you expand your skills and create your own characters and series you will be glad for the copyright laws which protect your creations and allow only you to profit from them ;)

I Just want my Disney/Marvel comic:(:(

I'm guessing you are a teen?? And none of us are trying to be rude but you seem to not understand that there are laws governing copyright & trademark infringement.

You can want all day but legally you can't mass produce something where you violate the law.

It's not about us "winning", but us trying to protect you from a future law suit. If you are that talented, why not pursue an education/career that may give you an opportunity to work for Marvel/Disney? Keep your comic books for your portfolio, and follow your dreams.

Can i keep the Marvel/Disney Comic to read by myself and share with my friends?

And none of us are saying you can't have it. By all means, make the comic book. If you don't think you can do the artwork, then ask a friend who can draw to work on it with you. Or, I bet you can pay someone to do the art for you. Check out sites like Etsy, there are all kinds of artists and craftspeople out there who do custom work.

Then you'll have your comic book. And yes, you can show it to your friends and your family. You don't have to see it in a comic book store to get satisfaction and enjoyment from something you created. :)

Somewhere on the internet, there must be sites for people who write Disney or Marvel fan fiction. I bet they'd love to hear your story, and I bet you'd find other people there who've made their own comic books. Then you'd have new friends you can show your comic book to. Try googling 'Disney fanfic', or 'Marvel fanfic'.
