How to get from AK to Epcot

Get on the Epcot bus at the bus stop outside AK. Should take 25-45 min based on how long you have to wait on the bus to arrive. Give yourself some extra time of trying to get to a reservation

If tif you want to go straight to world showcase you could also bus to beach club or boardwalk and walk to international gateway. Give yourself another 15 min for the walk if it's your first time going that route.

I agree with Spork24. If you have a dining reservation, I would allow an hour. Unfortunately, AK is the most remote park. However, I would not bus it to Beach Club. Although it is a short walk to Epcot, I think you would be better off on the Epcot bus.

Why?

There is no reason to think the OP, Maresc, would necessarily be "better off" on the Epcot bus.

If Maresc is headed to Canada, France, Morocco, Japan or USA, (even Mexico,) the International Gateway entrance (walking in from Beach Club) is a great alternative to walking all the way in from Epcot's bus terminal, through Future World and on into World Showcase.

OTOH, If Maresc is headed to a Future World destination, the Epcot bus is a fine choice.

There have always been park-to-park buses. How else are you supposed to park hop?

It is only the park to DTD/DS buses that had to be taken away, because people were parking at DTD/DS and busing to the parks to avoid parking fees.

I used to believe the same myth.
There are definitely park to park buses.
So much mis-information to sift through, it can be confusing at times. I'm thankful for people like Robo.

I know it's already been covered but I want to put my vote in for bus to Boardwalk or Beach Club and walking if you're going to World Showcase. However, if you're going to the front of the park for rides the bus is probably better. Either way is a good choice, just depends on where you want to start out at Epcot. I love coming in the International Gateway because there is rarely a line at bag check and at the entry point.

And while "technically" there has always been bus service from DHS to/from Magic Kingdom and from DAK to/from Magic Kingdom,it has only been "recently" that these buses have their bus stop AT Magic Kingdom instead of AT TTC.

Maybe it would be better if folks used the phrase that says there is park to park transportation, rather than park to park buses.
Cause the bottom line is yes, there is a common thought that you can't get transportation from a park to another park. That is a myth as there is some method going from 1 park to another. Just the mode of transportation will vary.
Another no bus option, I believe, is HS to/from Epcot.

This just got posted on the Transportation board. Once you grasp reading it, it is quite helpful. Though daunting to look at as a whole.

There are no buses from resort to resort. (with one exception)
There are no buses from Disney Springs to the parks.
But there is transportation between parks.

It's the KISS theory (keep it simple). When you are dropped off at the front of Epcot, you just follow everyone else.

You can follow them, if you like.

OR, you can follow the advice of those with experience in these things.
Many of us have posted hundreds of times about "getting there" issues, covering nearly every public square yard of WDW.
