how to get a AAA diamond parking pass?

Hi all,

In the past we've bought our tickets from AAA, and we got a diamond parking pass that was great. Now, however, we've joined DVC< and they have better discounts, so we're using them. And I think that maybe AAA changed and you have to get a whole package from them now to get the pass.

Anyone know if this is right, or if there's any other way to get the pass? We'll be staying non-DVC on the weekend, so I could book that through AAA if it'll help, but I already have an AP reservation...

do you still have the diamond parking pass? Just use that. Even though it supposedly is good for only one year, they still accept it. As long as you don't have the pink one with the 75th Celebration on it (when the castle was pink) :teeth:

I'm sure someone with an AAA pass will see your OP and probably PM you soon. If not, just keep bumping this thread.

We're going in December and I have it on my Outlook reminder to PM someone who has one. ::MickeyMo

and I got the Diamond Parking Pass w/ my documents. Our last trip was in December 04 and we travelled w/ my mom, who has a handicapped card, so we parked in the handicapped parking. I have no idea where the AAA parking area is or whether we will be able to use it, since it appears to be limited occupancy.

Can someone tell me about it? Do I show the pass when we enter the parking area (gates) or do I show it to one of the lot attendants?

Thanks.

When you go through the gates or see an attendant, they'll tell you which painted line to follow on the pavement to that parking area. You just leave it on your dashboard.

The AAA parking is the next closest section after handicapped. We never had any trouble parking there at all, but we've only been in the off-season. I have no idea how it would be in the summer. It was really nice - you could avoid a lot of trams, which with a stroller, is a big help.

Cruise-o-Matic: I'll have a pass that I won't be using. My trip starts 11/27 so I think I 'll be receiveing it two weeks or more before that. If you want it, its yours. Just PM me before that with your address (actually, probably keep in touch sometime in Sept or so so I dont' forget I promised it to you) and I'd be happy to send it to you. Might also have a coffee pot, cooler, and... god knows what else, lol.
