How to find songs similar to.....

Suppose you like a certain song or the certain way a certain artist sings it.

Do you know anyway to find or search for other songs you make like based upon that?

Sort of like how Netflix suggestions movies to you based on movies you like.

Like suppose you were putting together playlist for an event (wedding, funeral.....) or slideshows but wanted to stick with similar music throughout but don't want the same artist throughout.

Like supposed you liked Peter Gabriel's version of "Book of Love" or K.D.Lang's version of "Hallelujah" and wanted to find more that go with those.

FYI - this is in no way connected to my other question of saving youtube videos to computer. Just a coincidence. Honest.

I've used pandora for listening, but it suggests lots I don't like.

Just wanted to note that you can either look for similar songs you already own that are in your library, or if you turn on the Genius Sidebar it lists similar songs in iTunes.

I've used pandora for listening, but it suggests lots I don't like.

Nope just take a song in your libbrary and edit the name and artist fields in itunes and Genius will work the same way !

when you are done, rename it back!
