How to extend trip

Good Morning - have a quick question, my daughter who is an associate on our DVC account is going down for 12/31 - 1/2, 1/2 is a Sunday, if she decides she wants to add another day and stay, how does she do that? are DVC offices open on Sundays, should she make her decision on 1/1, which is New Years Day?? Doubt rooms will be available, but if they are, whats the best way to approach this.

call member services and see what they suggest... if they are open today they will be open next sunday

Just a guess, but I'm going to guess there isn't going to be a room available last minute this time of year. Since New Years is the busiest in all DVC resorts, and many stay that week between then to the marathon, I'd be very surprised to find any room at a DVC resort. You could call and ask what's available and be willing to take any size unit if it is available. Her other option is to try and get a cash room.

Your daughter can even inquire right at the front desk at the resort. They can access MS records to add the additional night(s). I'd even suggest doing that after 9am so that MS will be open. MS will be closed on 1/1, but should be able to assist on 1/2.

As already mentioned, I'd also be surprised to find availability, but she won't know until she asks - sometimes things do open up at the last minute.

thanks, we only booked this 5 days ago!! was able to get a studio 12/31 and 1/1!! at SSR, I did call today, and they will be open on 1/2 at 9:00am so that is good to know. And surprisingly, I could get a studio at BWV for 12/31!!! And if she decided on 1/1 that they want to stay, they said to just go to the front desk, so guess they can access the computers.
