My Xmas pressie from DH this year was tickets for Cirque Du Soleil. We go on the 11th Feb and I can't wait!!! I have heard so many great things about it :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc

I was wondering what to wear though.... do people tend to 'dress up' like you would at an evening at the theatre? Or will casual dress be just fine.

I wouldn't want to turn up looking overdressed but, as he has paid alot of money for the tickets, I feel it warrants a bit more effort. (And the effort needs to be packed to take with us LOL)

Hi Sue! :)

Cirque is truly fantastic - you will love it! I've been twice already and hope to go again when I'm next in Florida.

Casual dress is the norm. From memory no-one dresses up to go but in general have to say people looked 'neater' than just in their 'walking around the Parks' gear.

HTH.

We have been several times now and I have to say you get the whole range from people in very smart "glam" wear to shorts and shirt straight off the parks.

I think the majority are dressed for an evening out rather than very casual but certainly not jacket and tie etc. probably slightly more casual (due to the temperature) than for the theatre here although the whole experience is very like going to see a high quality musical rather than a circus.
