Less than three weeks to go and we are in the final stages of planning. :woohoo:
We are staying at Pop Centuary and were wondering, when we get too hot, is it possible to leave a park and take the monorail to Grand Floridian (or another WDWR hotel) use the pool there and return when we are suitably refreshed? :grouphug:

No

Pool's are for the paying guests of that hotel, you are not allowed to pool hop. Just go back to Pop and use your pool you can then shower and change in the comfort of your own room. :)

What we have done quite a lot is actually jump out to one of the water parks at about teatime for a couple of hours. The parks are then not as busy, we have a relax then hit another park.

luckily were indvc so we can pool hop

Although we are staying on site we are also going to go out of the parks to cool down and will go round the monorail hotels for lunch. Although we are staying at GF we plan on eating at poly and contemporary and then when it is cooler go back to the parks. I personally find swimming makes me sleepy in the hot weather:rotfl2:

Thanks everyone for your "cool" ideas!

yo might already know this... but when I have nieces and nephews and dsis with me I bring those magic towels with me and when it gets really hot and they are in line for a ride... just dunk it in an ice water and place it at the back of their neck .. it helps them stay cool.:upsidedow

With the hours available to you in the summer what you might find works great is to be at a park for opening leave about 12-1 and go back to your resort for a light meal, swim, nap/rest, shower & change and then be rested and refreshed to hit the parks again late afternoon. The hottest time of day between 1-4 is a pretty much a hot crowded nightmare at the parks in the summer. This is also the best way to get the most rides done and still be able to enjoy fireworks and stuff. We are two adults who have been to WDW about 15 times and we do this when we are by ourselves and when we travel with 3 generations. I really cannot say enough good things about this style of touring.

Hi Paulh, I thought you could only use the fastpasses for what time is on them? Can you use them any time after the time printed?
:thanks:
