How to contact Disney about prospective employee

I'm not understanding the jolly little emoticon if the circumstances are indeed serious enough for you to seek out contact information to make notification to this stranger's prospective employer?
I found the use of that particular emoticon very odd. And a tad bit....gleeful. Much of this thread doesn't add up.

@TheIncredibles We were posting at the same time. I so agree with you. We got the same unpleasant feeling and chose nearly the same word .....glee.

To clarify, the police have already been contacted. I wanted to contact Disney as well.

.

Contacting the police should be as far as it goes. If the person is actually viewing or producing child pron, the police will prosecute and you can bet the person will no longer be employed by Disney.
And if your assumptions are wrong, well you are wrong and trying to keep them from being employed is out of line at the very least and immoral (IMO) and possibly illegal.

In these circumstances we're supposed to assume law enforcement has already been informed, which presumptively handles any public safety concerns. That leaves the notification of the employer as purely intended to prevent employment, unless we're to accept at face value the notion that the employer notification is necessary due to the presumptive inability of law enforcement to uphold public safety.

If Disney wanted to employ OP and contacted previous employers to verify employment history, there is little information those past employers could legally provide beyond verifying employment. So I'm sure it's no problem to randomly contact even a stranger's prospective employer in an attempt to make said employer reconsider their offer of employment, no problem at all. I'm certain the law would have no concern with that under any circumstances.

It's sort of... messed up, scary, and sickening in my opinion. It seems like the OP doesn't even know this person but just found a random pic after doing a Google search. A Google search... to a Twitter account... of some random person in the world.

I am not aware of any laws that would penalize someone for reporting something they truly believed to be inappropriate, so no fear there. :thumbsup2

I typed "Disney today" into the search box, hoping to find the account that posts the daily updates. (It's @WDWToday)

A post of hers came up "GOT MY OUTFIT FOR MY FIRST DAY AT DISNEY TODAY" with an accompanying image that was... interesting.
Okay, if I'm understanding correctly, in RustyScupper style...

1) You googled looking for a Disney blog.
2) One of the results included a picture of a stranger announcing that she'd gotten her cast member uniform?
3) Something about that picture was so eye catching you felt compelled to start sleuthing and browse this stranger's personal social media accounts.
4) You uncovered a hive of illegal activity.
5) You contacted police.

Out of sheer curiosity, could you please describe what was going on in that picture that set all of this in motion?

This is the funniest troll thread. I googled "EarsandTiaras" and found a teenaged Tumblr site and followed links to a personal blog that has pics of a young girl posing in a Baywatch style one piece with her butt hanging out... Holy smokes, I better report that to the proper authorities because her parents should know their kid is posting revealing pics online, lol.

Good grief. She's a Beiber fan. Need we say more.....

Just to clarify, this isn't me. Feel free to bash this poor soul with bad taste in music, but be aware it's a stranger.

I suspect that Disney is very capable of finding this type of info themselves. I don't think that they need us to watch people for them.

I don't know why you would get in touch with their potential employer, unless you know them personally and have an ax to grind. If you feel they are breaking the law and you reported that to the police, then I think you are done.

And I think that was the point. This person you reported (want to report? not sure what you did) may not be the person actually posting this stuff. It could anyone - an ex-friend/boyfriend/girlfriend, whatever - and you may have reported someone who hasn't done anything.

We have a friend that has a Facebook account. His friends set it up and go on and post all kinds of ridiculous stuff and funny statuses. Nothing bad, just so off the wall stuff. He himself has never posted anything. He doesn't even know the password. Maybe it's something like that, only by people who do not like him/her.
