We just came back from our trip 3 days ago. I had a little "run-in" with a cast member. The more I think about it, the more I think it was a very inappropriate way for a cm to behave and I am considering complaining about it. My only problems are--how, and to whom, does one complain? And do those complaints really get back to the cm, or do you just get a standard "so sorry, thanks for your feedback, ..." type of response?
Basically what happened was this. We were coming back from MGM at night. We asked a cm if a bus went to the WL. She looked it up and told us that bus # 5 went directly there. We stood waiting for such bus for about 20 minutes when another cm came by. He was rather terse in his attitude and asked what we were doing there. We explained that we were waiting for bus # 5 to go back to WL. He said that there wasn't bus service to WL, we had to take a boat and connect at DTD. He aslo said that the park was closing and we couldn't stay there. I said we had no desire to stay at a bus stop all night, we were given incorrect information ffrom another cm. Well, instead of saying sorry about that, he said that I was expecting too much from a cm to ask about bus schedules, etc. He then went on to say that there's so much information at Disney, and how could a cm be expected to "know it all?" Well, we could only start by asking someone. If the original cm didn't know she could have found out. Then this twirp tells me that asking cm's about bus schedules would be like asking him if the Chef at the Paris restaurant uses too much spices in his cooking. I told him I thought his remarks were unecessary and rude. We had gotten misinformation from one cm, then got correct information from him. We were only too glad to be on our way. We really didn't need his smart aleck cracks. Instead of apologizing,he just continued on in the same vein, making remarks to the effect that no one cm can be expected to know everything, etc. We went on our way, but that rude encounter really soured the rest of the evening. I really do feel he needs some lessons in PR. However, I really don't want to type my fingers off for nothing. Does anyone know of an effective way to complain about this guy (I did note his name) so that the complaint will reach the appropriate person?
