I used to use those crowd predictor sites. I am guessing they arent a thing now that there are no EMH? I have a weds/friday and a saturday that i need to pick for a HS, Epcot and MK day. We will have two MK days but one is the sunday following that saturday - and I dont really want to do two in a row. Do a lot of locals still go to epcot on weekends or is epcot barely a thing now that so much is closed?

Just looking at this week. MK is open 2 hour later on Saturday and AK is open an hour later according to the calander.

Those crowd predictor sites lost most of their predictive ability after WDW crowd patterns changed a few years ago. One of the most popular quit making predictions the year before last, because it just wasn't working anymore. Why? The Internet, in a word. The websites telling everyone how great October was and the first two weeks of December were spread the news a little too widely, so now, what used to be light times are now heavy times, and vice versa, as everyone has heard how "terrible" July is (actually it's now relatively uncrowded for WDW except for Independence week).

And right now we're in an unprecedented situation, so any prediction they could make would just be a guess.

Depending on where we stay we have a pattern to how we visit parks. If we're at the AK: AK, EP, HS, AK. If we're at MK: MK, EP, HS, MK, EP. If we're at BC: EP, HS, EP, HS, EP. We don't need a park ticket for every day.

I’m wondering the same thing right now. About what days to pick for each park. We are going July 4-10. This year Independence Day is on a Sunday. So would our dates be considered independence week?

It will help that you're going mostly after Independence Day, though. It's the days around July 4th that are highest, not one set 7 day period before or after. The later days of your trip should be noticeably less crowded. I've been there that time of year and will say, that besides July 3rd & 4th, even the week of Independence Day doesn't get as crowded as Christmas week, for example.

But now that there are park reservations, that might not be such an issue, anyway. We were at Epcot on December 18th and Animal Kingdom on December 23rd 2020, both of which would typically be very crowded days, but they weren't in 2020, possibly due to park reservations.

Thank you! I can move our trip with the discount arriving a few days later. I’m thinking about doing that. Flights are cheaper also if we move our dates.
