Excellent link - - thanks for posting!! I am used to selling gold in the Middle East (spent the past 7 years in Turkey) where gold is used as actual currency - the daily rate is posted daily - like at a bank - the electronic scales are used to measure and the rate is calculated as actual currency. I have always been a little apprehensive of selling gold in the US because it is not viewed as actual currency by many buyers. This is a great post to help give a standard to go by in a market where it is not regulated as carefully by authorities. Not that you wouldn't get ripped off anywhere but it does help!

I never cease to be amazed. Havent posted here in months and Im searching for answers about how to NOT get ripped off selling gold and theres the DIS!
