I really love the autographed hat idea vs. a book...although we have those too! The Disney Store just got in a great selection of really cute baseball hats for boys and girls and I was thinking about getting one for my son and daughter to have autographed. That would keep the sun out of their faces in between! I'm just wondering though if the characters find this hard to autograph since it's not a stiff surface? I have a pack of Sharpies to bring but I'm not sure how it would work. Any suggestions?

My dd's each have a baseball cap signed by many of the characters and they love it. We used a sharpie and didn't have any problems with the characters signing except the ones who don't sign or stamp of course.

My dd's picked a light tan hat with a small black mickey and had all the signatures in black sharpie. It looks really nice.

I loved having it handy all the time and only carrying a sharpie - much easier than fishing for the books.

Now they hang on the wall in the girls bedrooms and are worn often. The books are on the bookshelf but rarely looked at.

What a great idea! I know the books would be put on a shelf and never looked at again. Thanks for the idea!

Get one of the mini sharpies then use the lid on their lanyard put a fullsize on that lid it will fit.(makes it easier for the char.to hold) .I get my Bucket hats signed by the football players every year .They hold lots of sigs and keep the sun out great. The gold and silver metalics show up the best.
