I know I am going to sound thick but I know where the location of Salon Mickey is but the door has always been shut when we've walked pass, how do you get to gain access or does the door shut mean is full/closed?:confused3

Thanks:flower3:

You knock with a proud and happy rap on the door, because you are shareholders :goodvibes :woohoo:. The CM will open the door for you and usher you into the receptions area, where they will take your shareholders card and park tickets/APs. When you are refreshed and ready to leave Salon Mickey, you go back to the CM, they give you your park tickets and shareholders card back, and usher you out the other door (straight into the main park).

You just knock on the door and give the CM your shardeholders card as well as your valid park tickets/APs

Its the door to the left of the Guest Services windows at the main park (instead of going to the turnstiles under the hotel, you go to the right of them as you approach the main park, and you'll see a couple of turnstiles there, Salon Mickey is the door next to it, and Guest Services are the windows next to that ;).)

its open from 9am to 12 noon each day.

Sorry to hijack the thread, but can you enter from the park side, or do you have to come out of the park to get in? Thanks

Just another question...when we go in October, it will just be on day tickets and therefore won't qualify for EMH :sad2:. However, do you think we would be able to go to Salon Mickey at 9am, and stay in there until 10am opening?

I think it would be difficult to get in that park door to Salon Mickey - simply because the CMs desk is at the other door. I've never tried it to be honest, and I don't remember seeing anyone enter through that door, just exit.

Yes, you can - we've done that a couple of times :). You don't have to stay in Salon Mickey until 10am though, as the park opens to non-EMH guests at around 9.30 anyway (you just can't go into the "lands" until 10am, but you can walk along Main St, up the arcades, take a Main St vehicle up to the hub and back etc etc etc).

Oh right, that's excellent news :goodvibes. I am anticipating large volumes of people, especially in October. But to have the ability of at least getting to the end of Main St, will give us a good chance of a reasonable wait for Buzz and or Peter Pan. (...on reflection might FP Buzz and do Peter Pan. I remember Peter Pan's queue extraordinarily tedious. At least there's things to look at in Buzz's Q!) Thank you for the info, much appreciated

You can FP Peter Pan too - I never use the normal line for Peter Pan outside of EMH. In fact, I've often found the Buzz FP to be a bit of a waste of time - as you join the start of the inside wait area anyway with your FP. With Peter Pan FP, its a whole separate line, all the way to your ship :).

Just wanted to add that I think the knock on the door at Salon Mickey is the most exciting part. :cool1: Big kid here. :cool1:

:lmao::lmao: aw Sonya, just think yourself lucky that you've been able to ride everything you wanted without using FP at all up til March :goodvibes

We FP'd Star Tours in Feb. That queue ended up being pretty big too, so still took at least 40ish minutes! Plus, we missed most of the starship thingy, (my apologies...I'm not a Star Wars fan!) that you can see from the main queue. We ended up having to crane our necks to have a look over the wall, to see the...hmm...loading bay...is it?! Not sure! I'm going to get on to the Shareholder's club first thing Monday morning and provide them with my details for membership. Can't wait to knock on Salon Mickey's door :-). So glad I joined this forum, I have learnt so much in a week!!
