How strict are they..?

Look on the bright side, if he doesn't make it this trip it will give you a reason to go back!!! We were in line for Space Mountain and a little girl in heels(princess shoes) was asked to step out of them. Her mom had a fit but she was not able to ride. We felt so sorry for the cast member as they were really giving her a hard time.

You don't have to convince me to want to go back, its my dh that would need convincing. That's no fun getting denied for the ride but I *can* see them asking the child to take heels off. We wouldn't do anything extreme, my ds will wear his everyday sneakers or maybe crocs.

I wouldn't count on him riding. My daughter was just 35 inches when we went to the doctor. We went to MK a few days later and tried Goofy 's Barnstormer and they determined she was too short. She is just under 2 and she's been to Disney so many times that she understood we weren't getting on the ride. The cast member that measured her was very nice and talked to her for a minute. There are many, many rides that have no height limits at MK. Your son will have plenty to do.

Thanks for the tip about the front being less jerky :)
I have been trying to prepare my ds that we may not get to ride 7DMT, we are preparing for no but hoping for the best. :)
