Yea metric but I think you really meant few millimeters. :thumbsup2

A few centimeters would be inch and we are already past that discussion.

The inconsistency is the only thing that bothers me. Ds was right at 40 a few years ago. Rode splash mountain and big thunder 4 times each. Turned down at test track 2 of 4 times. Rode star tours 2 times. Not allowed on dinosaur or soarin at all.
Same thing happened at space mountain last year. Rode 3 times but was turned down on the 4th time.
It's difficult for young kids to understand. You were tall enough last time but this time you too short.:confused3

I agree! We took my 3 y/o GS to WDW this past Feb. The day we arrived they were having EMH that night at MK, so we went. He rode Splash Mountain twice without a problem, but when we left Splash Mountain and went over to Stitch, we were told he was too short. We went back a few mornings later to MK and that CM said he was too short to ride Splash Mountain that day, even though he had ridden it twice a few nights prior. We had practiced with him before we left home about how he had to stand really tall and try to hit the bar. He tried his best that morning, but was still too short, even though he rode it several nights before.:confused3 He was right at the bar.

It's not necessarily inconsistent at all.

The forces of those very rides he went on can CAUSE a shorter measurement the next time. The forces of the day and of rides causes the fluid in the intervertebral discs to lessen, which makes the discs less puffy, and causes height loss. You need to hydrate, lie down, and rest to rehydrate those vertebral "joint" spaces.
.

See my post above. In our case, we flew in that morning, walked around DTD, ate dinner, and then went to MK for EMH that night. He was fine on Splash Mountain. However, several mornings later we were told he was too short. Actually I think it was the CM working during EMH that messed up, because we were told the rest of the week at every single 40" ride that he just missed it. After that first night, he didn't get to ride another 40" ride all week. He was wearing the same sneakers all week, so it wasn't his shoes either and as I said we had worked with him on standing really tall and trying to bump the bar, so it wasn't the way he was standing either. He was trying his best to stretch his head to that bar.
