How soon...?

Hi y'all,
I have a question for those of you who have cruised before. How soon is too soon to pack? I had to go and buy an entire new summer wardrobe due to the loss of 50 pounds last fall. Now I have these new clothes and no where to put them until my cruise on April 20th. I was thinking of pulling out the suitcase and starting the packing in order to keep dear kitty from turning them into a new bed.

Any advice would be helpful and appreciated.

Believe it or not winddancer, I have already started packing. I don't leave until August. I also went out and bought a new wardrobe for this vacation. So now is not too early IMO.

It's never TOOOO early to start packing. If I don't start packing at least a couple of months before my husband thinks something is wrong!!!!!!!c

I have had this trip planned since last Feb. , I had a small suitcase in the bottem of the closet so I could throw all the things I found around the house and on sale in that suitcase. Well a couple months ago, I took the suitcase out of the closet and started really packing. The suitcase has turned into four now and we have almost everything bought to go. Now all I have to do is organize and iron. Its never to soon to pack, that way you know if you need something. Have a wonderful trip!!!!!!!

First off, CONGRATULATIONS for losing so much weight!! Wow!

I agree with the previous posters...it's never too early to start packing. As soon as I start packing my winter things away and bringing out my summer stuff I'll probably start packing myself.

If we're leaving Friday morning, I like to pack on Thursday night. That way our cats don't use the suitcases as a bed while the suitcases are waiting to be filled up.....
