How Soon is Too Soon?

I am looking to rent points for a May 2007 trip at BCV, and I was wondering when is the time to start asking/looking for points to rent? Thanks!

someone who owns DVC at BCV can book at 11 months out and anyone else can at 7 months out. That would mean you should try to get the reservation 11 months out from the last day of your trip. It is unlikely you could get anyone renting to you to call day to day to add on to the rental. They would call at 11 months out from the last day of your trip or after. This would only be from someone who has BCV points. If it was someone from SSR,BWV,etc. it would be at the 7 month mark.
