How soon did you know?

How soon did you know you were pregnant? My first I just took test after test since I was trying. # 2 I had a dream I was pregnant and found out really early. Now I am trying again and I swear that I am starting to feel like I am. Am I crazy or has anyone else known right away?

With my first, we were trying to conceive, I was 2 days late and took a test. With my daughter, 2 employees came up to me(on the same day!!!) and told me they dreamt I was pregnant(both said a girl also) I left work, took a test, and was pregnant! But, I didn't tekll them until I was 12 weeks!

I didnt know I was until I was almost 2 months pregnant. I thought that I was tired because Im a retail manager and it was christmas time. It was New Years Eve when I felt sick the whole day that I went and got a test and told DH at Midnight...

2 weeks after it happened. But we had been trying for a year and a half, so I was pretty sure something was different than every other month

I knew the minute I was one day late. I had never been late or missed a period, so I knew. It wasn't planned, but it was a blessing.

Then later in life with my second husband, we were trying and trying. I can't tell you how many pregnancy tests I had. Turns out I was never pregnant, late because I was going through the change at 33. OH JOY

For my first, I knew the minute we conceved, too. But, I was trying and didn't realize how hard it could be, so I guess I was lucky! Now, I've been trying for 18 months and am hoping this is it- Today is the day AF should show, so we'll see! I'm 10 dpo, so if I test, it will be tomorrow for me.

I am not due until the 4th of Nov so it is too soon to terst. Not that I did'nt already take a test today. Of course it was neg but I know it is too early to really know.

First one I knew when we conceived. Didn't think that was possible but it happened.

Second one I new about 2 days before I was supposed to start. I looked at myself in the mirror and just 'looked' pregnant. I think it was the fact that I'm pretty busty anyway and I could see that I was popping out of my bra.

Third one which was unplanned I didn't know until I realized that I was about 1 week late and it was just after the New Year's holiday. Ran out to Walmart, bought a test and did it in the ladies's room (too much info I know!) I was a little upset as I was training for the Disney Marathon which was just a few days away. Fortunately my doctor was OK with it as long as I took it slow. Now my 3 yo DS loves WDW and running around!

I didn't really know until I was a few weeks pregnant, but I was sooo tired I should have known.

With my first I knew a week before AF was due or about that time. I remember being at work & not wanting to go in some patients room (I am a nurse) because they had something (a disease). And we were not trying.

With my second I knew also about a week before. We were trying but I wasn't doing the whole I am fertile this day thing it was if it happens it happens.

With my 3rd I must have known the month before! Seriously. My friend got pregnant with her 3rd & it was an oops. I laughed because she had a 9 month old (as well as a 4 yo).

Then last June 2005, we went car shopping & I told my dh we should get the bigger SUV with the 3 row seats for taking our kids friends places but he said no, we are not a taxi service. I really should of convinced him to get the 3rd row but I didn't.

When we took it for a test drive, I sat in the back with both car seats on either side of me & I said my big butt can fit so can another car seat if I am pregnant. My dh did not know I had these thoughts.

I swear I knew I was pregnant a day or two after #3 was concieved. Because about 2 weeks after I got my car I took a HPT & it came up postive.

I've been pregnant 5 times and I think I knew very early with #'s 2 - 5. First time I wasn't sure. I once had to argue with my dr. about how far along I was and he told me there was only one way to prove it. He said I was less than 6 wks. pregnant and I said 11 weeks. He used a fetal monitor and heard the heartbeat very strongly. Said you cannot hear heartbeat before 10 weeks. He was actually amazed that I had known I was pregnant so early. You can usually trust your intuition on these things. I wish you the best!

Okay you guys are all giving me hope! I thought that I was going to be calm about this one since it will be our third baby. But it feels like the first time again. I wish there was some test you could take the next day, or your body would do something to make it really clear!

We have been trying for several months for number 3. Tomorrow I will be 12DPO and I am hoping that it will be +, but I took one this morning and it said -...so dissapointing! I had no idea with our son. I just kept thinking "I should be getting AF, I am so crampy", but when I got pg. with DD, I kind of knew but was in a bit of in denial.

Our first was stillborn when I was 9 months and although with DD I was praying, I was severly in denial.

Now we are trying again, and I pray and pray each month, but since DD, I am no where near regular. I use the Clear Blue Fertility Monitor and it tells me when I am ovulating. It worked on month 2 for DD, this time I just can't seems to get pg at all.

Here's hoping that I just tested too early today. With DD, I got a + on 12DPO. Of course I will test again tomorrow.

This happened to me too w/my first. In fact we decided to start trying on our vacation at WDW. 2 days before we left to come home suddenly I didn't want to go on any rides - I just had this feeling that I shouldn't. My appetite increased and I didn't take my valium for the plane ride. Boy - that was sure a sign! Anyways - we brought home our best WDW souvenir ever!

I think there's a lot to be said about dreams! If you're dreaming about it, it could be!

Funny story - We knew both times about 1 month before. I was at a birthday party and one of the other attendees is a psychic. She came up to me and said, "are you trying to have a baby, because I see it happening for you in May." Freaky! We hadn't told anyone we had been trying, so it's not like she could have heard it through the grapevine. I was so excited to take the test that month, because the last few had been negative, and getting pregnant then would put my due date in May. Took the test...negative. I was devastated. Several days later, I still hadn't gotten my period, so I took another test and it was positive! Due on May 13th!

A couple years later, I bumped into that woman at a store. She asked me if I had any other kids. When I said no, she glanced at my stomach, raised an eyebrow, and said "okay" (in a way that said "I know something you don't know!). DH and I weren't trying then, so I kind of dismissed it. Well, a couple weeks later, I found out I was pregnant!

The day before our first OB visit with the 2nd pregnancy, I had a dream that I was feeding the baby, then looked around and saw another baby - 3 kids? whoa where did that one come from?!? I told my dh about it, and he looked at me in stunned silence, then told me he just had a dream we had twins. Well, guess what we found out when we went to the dr...yup, twins!
